Seed Delivery and Renovations

Between seasons isn’t downtime

As the potato season comes to an end we look forward to the beginning of the next one! It all starts with taking delivery of seed from Calby Molemi Farm. Some seed will be kept in the warehouse, and the rest in our cold room.

If you are new to our website, 'seed' refers to small potatoes that are grown specifically to be used for planting a new crop. Potatoes are grown from small 'seed' potatoes.

Four projects we've been wanting to do for a while now: adding a tyre bay so we can monitor spares, building as a raw ingredients storeroom, extending our truck drive through service area, and building an awning to keep our farm machines out of the conditions when not in use. And of course as any farmer will tell you, servicing equipment. Time well spent between seasons.
