It's Bean harvesting time!
Sugar beans are really popular here in SA, but also the rest of Africa being a super versatile food. Eaten with rice they form a complete protein.
They quite a sensitive crop as the pods don't like too much rain and can't be too wet, so timing and weather is crucial more so then most crops. Standing in the field you can hear them all popping and crackling in the sun!
