An afternoon together at All Out Adventures
Farming never stops, but as a team we have to take stock of how far we’ve come.
In an ideal world we would get together more often as a team, but farming can be unpredictable, and when we work we work hard, making the most out of ideal weather conditions. This means social gatherings, putting the tools down and talking about life outside of work can take a back seat. Last year we didn’t have the opportunity to get together off the farm, so this year was particularly special. All Out Adventures in the Berg is a great outdoor location for team building activities. Staff were split up into random teams and completed a multitude of activities or ‘tasks’. Each activity had to be completed in a set amount of time with the chance to earn points. It’s all fun and games until a bit of stiff competition and the chance of winning is thrown into the mix! At the end of the afternoon all the points were tallied up and there was a winning team. The winners took gold by one point, so of course there were great celebrations!
